June 22nd - O&W Beaver Pond , Marcott Rd., Cottekill

The O&W Rail Trail is a 27-mile recreational trail from Kingston to Ellenville. This walk will be about two miles and will visit a beaver pond.

The van leaves the YMCA at 9 AM and will return by noon. Click here to Register

July 20th - Bluestone Wild Forest, Morey Hill Rd., Town of Kingston

Bluestone is a New York State Wild Forest. This walk will be about 2 miles and will visit historic sites, stone quarries, and a pond. The van leaves the YMCA at 9 AM and will return by noon. Click here to Register

August 20st - Esopus Meadows, Ulster Park

Esopus Meadows is a 96-acre public preserve protected by Scenic Hudson. In partnership with Kingston Parks and Rec, leaving from Forsyth Nature Center at 9 AM and will return by noon. Click here to Register

September 21st - Louisa Pond/Shaupeneak Ridge, Esopus

Louisa Pond is located in the town of Esopus and is protected by Scenic Hudson, New York State DEC., the West Esopus Land Owners Assn. The bus leaves the YMCA at 9 AM and will return by noon. Click here to Register

October 5th - Vernooy Kill Fallls, Town of Rochester - Trails End Rd Access

Vernooy Kill Falls is in the Sundown Wild Forest and is located in the Town of Rochester. The bus leaves the YMCA at 9 AM and will return by 1 pm. Click here to Register

Please bring a mask and practice social distancing. Bring a snack for yourself. Bring water. Wear hiking shoes or sneakers - no open-toed shoes. Dress appropriate for weather including a hat and bug spray.
